Long Back when i started to learn cooking, i remember mom made me to prepare lemon rice.Becoz it is very easy to prepare.Now it is one of my favorite dish, and likes to eat daily :)Here is the recipe for lemon rice, prepare and enjoy! Hmm..Don't forget to leave the comments :)
Ingredients:
1 cup of cooked rice(sona masoori)juice of 1 lemonGreen Chillies 4-6Curry leaves 1 stemMustard half tspJeera half tspurad dhal (split)half tspchanna dhal(split)half tspPeanuts 50 gms asafoetida a pinchturmeric a pinchsalt for tasteoil 4-5 tspCilantro for garnishing.
Method to prepare:
Heat oil in a wok,and add mustard when it pops, add jeera,urad n channa dhal,peanuts fry them for few sec and add asafoetida, curry leaves, green chillies , turmeric, salt and lemon juice, fry for few sec and take it away from flame .Now add the cooked rice mix well and garnish wid cilantro.
